Jillian Foley grew up in Niskayuna, NY where she got her dance training at Northeast Ballet Company, under the direction of Darlene Myers. She graduated from The Hartt School with a BFA in Ballet Pedagogy and two minors in Psychology and Performing Arts Management. While at The Hartt School she studied many dance techniques including ballet, Limon, Graham, and contemporary; and had the privilege of working with multiple contemporary choreographers. In the summer of 2014, she traveled to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to dance with the Henny Jurriens Foundation. This summer, Jillian is choreographing and dancing in "Orpheé et Eurydice" at Des Moines Metro Opera, will be teaching at Joffrey Ballet School, and dancing with Amy Marshall Dance Company in the Battery Park Dance Festival.
